Our Commitment
At Heartbreak Publishing Company, we believe that every author has a voice worth hearing and every story has the potential to make an impact. We are passionate about helping writers bring their unique perspectives to life, and we take pride in fostering a creative space that uplifts diverse voices, backgrounds, and experiences. Our mission is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and the belief that storytelling can be a powerful force for connection and change.
However, with that commitment comes a responsibility to uphold certain ethical standards. While we celebrate the freedom of artistic expression, there are some themes and subject matter that we, in good conscience, cannot support or publish under our name. We do not accept or edit works that promote fatphobia, rape, transphobia, homophobia, misogyny, racism, xenophobia, ableism, religious intolerance, or any form of bigotry and hate speech. Stories that glorify abuse, perpetuate harmful stereotypes, or invalidate the lived experiences of marginalized communities are not aligned with our values.
At Heartbreak Publishing, we strive to create a safer, more compassionate literary landscape. We are here to amplify stories that inspire, challenge, and heal—not those that harm. Our commitment is to our readers, our authors, and to the integrity of the publishing world we are honored to be part of.
